10GigE Vision Camera Sony IMX455

The Mars 10GigE Series is an industrial vision camera equipped with a 10GigE interface, ideal for high-resolution and high-speed imaging over long cable distances (beyond 5 meters). The 10GigE interface delivers data transfer speeds up to 10 times faster than standard GigE and twice as fast as USB3, making it perfect for demanding imaging applications.

The 10GiGE Vision is an excellent choice for applications that meet the following conditions:

  • Require an industrial high-speed or high-resolution camera
  • Need a maximum cable length of up to 100 meters using Cat6a or higher cables
  • Prefer cost-effective and easy cable installation
  • Camera dimensions: 100 × 100 × 141 mm
 The camera requires a 10GigE frame grabber. If your computer does not have a 10GigE port, we recommend using the VA-PCIe4-10GP-1 frame grabber. For additional information, please refer to the user manual.

The 10GigE camera series does not support Power over Ethernet (PoE). Please ensure that you order an appropriate I/O cable compatible with MARS cameras to provide power to the device.

Industrial Monochrome Camera

A monochrome, or black-and-white, camera is designed to capture images without color information, making it highly effective in industrial and scientific applications. Unlike color cameras, which divide incoming light into multiple channels, monochrome cameras use the full sensor for brightness detection. This results in greater light sensitivity, sharper images, and reduced data volume, which significantly improves the speed and efficiency of image processing.
 
By pairing monochrome cameras with the right lighting wavelengths and lens filters, specific product characteristics can be emphasized, creating high-contrast, high-resolution images. This makes them ideal for tasks such as inspection, measurement, and machine vision, where precision and detail are critical. Their ability to deliver consistent performance in controlled environments has established monochrome cameras as a reliable choice for industrial imaging.

Thermoelectric Cooling (TEC) with Fan 

The camera uses a thermoelectric cooling (TEC) system and an integrated fan to effectively reduce thermal noise and produce high-quality images.By leveraging the Peltier effect, the TEC keeps the CMOS image sensor at a stable, controlled temperature—up to 15 °C below ambient conditions. This stable cooling environment allows longer exposure times and improves the camera’s sensitivity, making it suitable for demanding applications such as those in the medical field.Compared to standard TEC cooling, the TEC-with-fan design offers even more precise temperature control. Depending on the application and ambient temperature, it can achieve lower sensor temperatures than models without a fan.
