10GigE Vision Camera GMAX3249

The Mars 10GigE Series is an industrial vision camera equipped with a 10GigE interface, ideal for high-resolution and high-speed imaging over long cable distances (beyond 5 meters). The 10GigE interface delivers data transfer speeds up to 10 times faster than standard GigE and twice as fast as USB3, making it perfect for demanding imaging applications.

The 10GiGE Vision is an excellent choice for applications that meet the following conditions:

  • Require an industrial high-speed or high-resolution camera
  • Need a maximum cable length of up to 100 meters using Cat6a or higher cables
  • Prefer cost-effective and easy cable installation
  • Camera dimensions: 74 × 74 × 60 mm
 The camera requires a 10GigE frame grabber. If your computer does not have a 10GigE port, we recommend using the VA-PCIe4-10GP-1 frame grabber. For additional information, please refer to the user manual.
 
INDUSTRIAL 10GIGE CAMERA WITHOUT POE
 

The 10GigE camera series does not support Power over Ethernet (PoE). Please ensure that you order an appropriate I/O cable compatible with MARS cameras to provide power to the device.

COLOR INDUSTRIAL CAMERA 

An industrial color camera uses a Bayer pattern to generate color images. The RGB value of each pixel is calculated based on its own value and the values of neighboring pixels. As a result, color images are generally less sharp than those produced by monochrome cameras.
 
Because of the RGB color filter, each pixel captures, on average, about 66% fewer photons under white light compared to a monochrome sensor. This makes color cameras less light-sensitive. To compensate for this, the following adjustments can be made:
 
  • Increase the amount of light
  • Increase the gain
  • Increase the shutter speed / exposure time
  • Select a more light-sensitive sensor
  • Use a more light-sensitive lens
 Industrial color cameras are typically used in applications where color information is critical.
